New Delhi: To commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of Sarojini
Naidu Google has posted a doodle on its India home page. The doodle includes a
portrait of the renowned freedom fighter and also a pen as a salute to the
distinguished poet.

Indian National Congress and the first woman to become governor of Uttar
Pradesh.
Known as the Nightingale of India, she eulogised India in her poems

received her higher education from King's College London and later at Girton
College, Cambridge.
