Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design (CAAD) is an exclusive Architecture Institution in Chennai approved by Council of Architecture, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The students will study in a designed environment that will inspire and invigorate their minds in expedient design practices that will stand as references in their profession.

Chennai Academy of Architecture and Design is located within Chennai limits on the Chennai Thirupathi highway near Periyapalayam. Bhavani Amman Temple in Periyapalayam stands as an attraction to many devotees and people throng here in thousands on weekends and in the month of Aadi and Avani.

AARULMIGU NAYAGAI SWAMIGAL SOURASHTRA EDUCATIONAL TRUTST is initiated with the blessings of Natanagopala Nayagi Swamigal an ardent disciple of lord SRI BALAJI. Swamigal insisted social, moral and spiritual teachings through his keerthanas during his lifetime in both and Tamil and Sourastra.
The trust was established with a prime objective of spearheading quality education in disciplines which are identified with capacities to make profound impact to the human society. With this deep sense of social responsibility and quest to deliver education services, an exclusive college for Architecture under the banner ‘CHENNAI ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN’ is initiated on par with excellence. The institution will uphold the values and ethics promulgated by the great saint and encourage the students to lead a socially balanced and disciplined life.
Natana Gopala Nayagi Swamigal
Natana Gopala Nayagi Swamigal was born to weaver parents - Rangariyar and Lakshmibai. His parents named him Ramabadran. Swamigal was not interested in worldly pursuits and left the house to Tirupparankundram, one of the abodes of Lord Muruga, where he did penance for 12 years.
Impressed by the greatness and yogic feats of Swamigal, saint, Nagalinga Adigal of Paramakkudi crowned him the title Sadananda Adigal. Jeeyar Swami of Srirangam, titled addressed him as ``Nadanagopala Nayaki'‘ . He led the life of an ascetic and finally merged with the Lord on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day in 1914
