Keeping in line with the trend of massive open online courses (MOOCs), Great Lakes Institute of Management and myBskool.com on Thursday announced a partnership to offer a flexi MBA programme.

Signing documents pertaining to the partnership, heads of the two entities based in Chennai said the objective was to make most of the access provided by technology.

Addressing presspersons, V. Bala Balachandran, GLIM founder and dean, said everyone should have education opportunities and MOOCs had the potential to help students, who still had the hunger to learn and gain insight into their chosen fields in management education.
Anyone who has access to the internet and a computer, smartphone or tablet can enrol for the classes, which will be offered free ‘using a portable classroom model’ to those who are not interested in getting a certificate.
For those who wish to be assessed and become eligible for a certificate from the Institute, fees would be charged, he added. Swaminathan.
