The Nepalese bowlers were absolutely sensational today. Sagar Pun, the part-timer was superb in his three overs while Jitendra Mukhiya was phenomenal in hitting the yorker lengths at will in the death overs. Gauchan took a couple of wickets in his first over itself and the fielding was outstanding too. Afghanistan's batting was survived by Stanizkai and Shafiqullah towards the death overs but in the end, they fell short of 9 runs.
Nepal were struggling in the first innings but then the duo of Khakurel and Vesawkar did an extremely remarkable job of first snitching a partnership, then accelerating the run-scoring in the end.
