AARULMIGU NAYAGAI SWAMIGAL SOURASHTRA EDUCATIONAL TRUTST is initiated with the blessings of Natanagopala Nayagi Swamigal an ardent disciple of lord SRI BALAJI. Swamigal insisted social, moral and spiritual teachings through his keerthanas during his lifetime in both and Tamil and Sourastra.

With this deep sense of social responsibility and quest to deliver education services, an exclusive college for Architecture under the banner ‘CHENNAI ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN’ is initiated on par with excellence. Natana Gopala Nayagi Swamigal
Natana Gopala Nayagi Swamigal was born to weaver parents - Rangariyar and Lakshmibai. His parents named him Ramabadran. Swamigal was not interested in worldly pursuits and left the house to Tirupparankundram, one of the abodes of Lord Muruga, where he did penance for 12 years. 
Impressed by the greatness and yogic feats of Swamigal, saint, Nagalinga Adigal of Paramakkudi crowned him the title Sadananda Adigal. Jeeyar Swami of Srirangam, titled addressed him as ``Nadanagopala Nayaki'‘ .  He led the life of an ascetic and finally merged with the Lord on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day in 1914
